The skin around the eyes, being more fragile and vulnerable to external stress factors, requires very specific care as it is thinner and more delicate than the skin on the rest of the face. It also has very few sebaceous glands (sebum secreting glands that hydrate the skin) and is, therefore, more at risk of becoming dehydrated.
