Fav lip plumbing treatment!

This formula is gold! I love the texture not to thick but still hydrating with the perfect pink shade in obsessed with it already bought my second one because it daily multiple times.

It doesn't do a thing

This lip plumping oil does nothing. Hardly any tingling and no visible plumping effect. For me, its an over-priced lip gloss. That's unfortunate, as I use G.M. Collins for the vast majority of my skin-care regimen.

Lovely, but the sting...

I put on the G.M. COLLIN Lip Plumping Oil for the first time after my shower, right before starting the rest of my skincare routine. The applicator has a soft, sponge-like tip that makes it easy to spread the salmon-colored oil across my lips. It feels rich from the moment it goes on, and my lips immediately feel moisturized. So far, so good.Then the sting kicks in. The formula contains vanillyl butyl ether and tocopheryl nicotinate, ingredients that create the warming, tingling sensation associated with lip plumpers. So the feeling isn't coming out of nowhere, but knowing what causes it doesn't make me enjoy it any more. I keep wondering whether the sting is part of the plumping effect or whether my lips would be happier without it. At least there's no strange taste, even when a little inevitably gets into my mouth.The frustrating part is that I genuinely like how the oil feels on my lips. It's the stinging that keeps this from being an easy five-star product for me. Take that away, and I'd be much happier with it.

Hello. I used the retired clear lip plumper for 7 years and LOVED it. Unfortunately, this replacement is not equivalent in feel, long lasting or lip hydration. Please bring the old formula back.

Filler-Like, Not Filler - I'm Perfectly Happy With That

One experience with lip injections was quite enough for me. I hated the results and promptly decided there would not be a second attempt. So the promise of fuller-looking lips from a product, is considerably more appealing than anything involving another needle. I do keep my expectations grounded. Miracles don't come in bottles, and I'm certainly not expecting a lip oil to reproduce actual injections. I'm also perfectly happy about that. And yes, my lips do look somewhat plumper when I'm wearing it. On me, I think the visible effect is a combination of the hydration and the shine. My lips still look like my lips. They simply look smoother, glossier, nicely defined and somewhat fuller. More than anything, I appreciate how hydrated and conditioned they feel.

The color is what sold me. It goes on very nude, almost a soft rosy mauve, so I think it could work on a wide range of skin tones. It has a high shine finish and feels smooth and non-sticky on the lips, which I appreciate.There is a tingle when you put it on. It is not bad, just noticeable. I like to wear this first, let it sit for a bit, and then switch to a regular gloss over top since I do not want tingling all night. Fine by me, but worth knowing if you are sensitive to that feeling.No smell at all, which is a plus for me. The glass tube feels expensive, and at $40 it doesn't feel pricey to me because it lasts a long time.

A Lip Plumper That Doesn't Burn

I'd never heard of G.M. COLLIN before this lip oil showed up, so I did some research. It turns out they're a long-established professional British to Canadian skincare brand that has been around since the 1950s that’s commonly found in spas and esthetician offices rather than the usual beauty retailers.The first thing I noticed was the shade, which is a beautiful nude pink that. I can see this shade working on a wide range of skin tones. The formula is more of a nourishing lip treatment than a traditional lip plumper. It contains squalane, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, peptides, and other skincare ingredients that leave my lips feeling very soft. These ingredients do help my lips to look smoother, better hydrated, and fuller due to moisture retention.I tried another lip plumper last year that was so intense it felt like my lips were burning. Needless to say I only tried that one once. I’m glad this lip oil is MUCH milder. I feel some tingling, but it nothing too intense. The finish is glossy and pretty as well.
